Commissioned Portrait Prices:
My first step in the process of creating a professional portrait is that I like to learn as much as I can about the subject(s) I paint. I usually work from photographs and in a oil medium to achieve the highest amount of detail and realism I can with each individual portrait. My prices are very reasonable compared to what the average professional portrait painter earns for a commission. My work is of the highest quality and I back it with a confidence that comes from over thirty years of portrait experience. Each portrait I do is important to me because it is important to you.

Commissioned Book cover Fee’s and Procedures:
Before I start each book cover design, I take great lengths to understand the thought process’s of the client and the subject matter they are trying to promote. Once we arrive at a concept for the book cover the next step in the process includes thumbnail sketches for the clients approval before the final artwork would begin.
During this initial process, I will take photo’s of the work and send them via e-mail of the progress of the commission to keep the client updated on its progress as well. Book cover art is reproduced better when done on a larger canvas to ensure the highest resolution reproduction.
