"CHRIST VICTORIOUS FOUND WITHIN THE ARTS"
As they have dared, so shall I dare. Dare to tell the truth!

A Short Biography

"TIMELESS" Kessler c12
THE ART OF PRESENCE:
“When I was a little boy I had quite the imagination. Imagination accepted who I was and it was always trying to speak through me. Imagination is the art of seeing the invisible. As I grew, I nurtured it until I became like the dreamer Himself and not just His dream. It is love itself that paints our divine portrait. A self portrait of life reflected through each one of us. You are this divine portrait if you can only accept it.”James Robert Kesslerc2013
“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” Albert Einstein
My name is James Robert Kessler and I am a creator. I believe we all are creators because we were created in the image of our creator, God. Art reflects the true condition and expression of the human spirit. I wouldn’t compare my gift with anyone because I understand every gift we have is from God. Through my art, my purpose and goal is to remind and encourage others of their own worth and purpose.
I am 52 years old and married to a beautiful Christian woman named Wanda. I am not a theologian in any sense of the word nor have I ever desired to be called one. I graduated from High school in 1979. I went on to college and received a degree in Visual Communications in 1981 from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After college, I freelanced several years doing portrait work but through fate and circumstance, I ended up in the health care field in 1987. I found myself working with mentally and physically challenged individuals and continue to do so today.

"The Journey of James" Kesslerc97
On May 5th 2002 I became involved in ministry work. I was asked to become a part of Discipleship Ministries of Farmington PA, under the direction of Pastor Terry Collins. We were involved in many outreaches including revivals, visiting homeless shelters, and an overseas mission’s trip. In November of 2002 we traveled to the former Soviet Union. We ministered to orphans, we taught in the high schools and colleges, and most of all we shared the love of God through the artwork with people who never heard the gospel message before.
My artwork has been used in many ways including book covers, ministry promotion’s and in featured print articles. We have also ministered at many conferences and done several radio interviews during the past few years. I have had the honor to meet some very influential people in this walk of Faith and the art has touched many ordinary lives through its message’s. Many doors are still being opened to us by the grace of God.
I am now moving into a new season of ministry because my worldview has changed dramatically over these past several years. I want my art to better reflect the human need to feel wanted and loved. To know that each individual life is sacred and has a purpose. A divine destiny that begins at our birth. Experienced through relationship and love and always with an attitude of mercy, grace and compassion.
“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” Oscar Wilde
My art doesn't define who I am. I know my days have all been fashioned by God's and knowing there is a purpose and a meaning behind all we do. Life is Beautiful. This planet we call our home a reflection of who we are inside. Life is beautiful simply because you are beautiful and you are life itself. Life is now. The kingdom of heaven is your very being, your very essence. To know this truth is the power to overcome and conquer death and expose the timeless or eternal being which dwells in your human form.
